Conall Whelan and James Byrne representing Munster U16 sqaud

James Byrne and Conall Whelan both spent their summer training and playing with the Munster U16 development squad. The two boys from Killorglin did their club proud, having an excellent worth ethic and improving their skills throughout the summer. This past weekend the summer programme finished up with a match against a Leinster u16 selection at Thomond Park. Both the lads did very well, with Conall Whelan scoring the opening try and James Byrne producing one of the plays of the day with a massive try saving tackle. The contest was an entertaining contest just edged by Munster. Well done to James and Conall we are looking forward to seeing you back in the Killorgin jersey this fall.
