Killorglin RFC is Keeping It In The Family
Killorglin RFC has always found pride in their rugby family, we protect, support and inspire each other. Our current senior team is taking the meaning of rugby family to a whole new level. This season our Seniors have 3 sets of brothers playing for the team. The O’Shea brothers Luke and Fionn play at out half and scrum half. Seamus and rookie Cathal Doyle find their place among the backs usually seen at fullback and on the wing. Two of our most intimidating players because of their size and skill Tony and Timmy Lynch are a force to be reckoned with. Tony captains the side from the second row and Timmy makes his mark, either beside his brother in the second row or enforcing in the front row. While KRFC sees family ties all through the club, from the senior team, to the coaches right down to the minis, having 3 sets of brothers on one team is quite unique for us. We hope they all have long careers in the KRFC jersey.
