Killorglin/Iveragh U18.5s travelled to Fontainblea Killorglin/Iveragh U18.5s travelled to Fontainbleau in France for 6 days over the Easter holidays.

The squad enjoyed 2 days in Paris, highlights included visits to the Effil tower, Notre Dame, Paris Saint Germaine Stadium and a cruise down the Seine. The lads also enjoyed a fun filled day in Aquaboulevard water park.

The group visited Chateau des Fontainbleau, a magnificent Chateau situated in the heart of Fontainbleau.

The team enjoyed a training session, a four kilometre hill run and the tour was capped off with a phenomenal game of rugby between KI and Fontainbleau U19s. The hosts provided refreshments post game with the 2 squads mixing incredibly well.

The squad had a lovely dinner out in "La Taverne" to celebrate Cillian Riordan and Ronan Clifford's 18th birthdays.

A special word of thanks to Denis Thirion of Iveragh RFC who organised all the travel within France and the game against his home club of Rugby SUD 77.

Finally a word about the boys, they were brilliant, laughing their way through the week. Friendships were cemented and llifelong memories were formed.
